Opening a salon together has been a dream that my daughter and I have shared for years. In May of 2006 this dream became our reality. I don’t know if all of this would have been possible without the help of Belvedere and Beneficial Capital.
The thought of opening a salon was both exhilarating and horrifying to both of us. Although we spent countless hours going over every last detail of the salon, bringing the ideas to life presented a whole different challenge.
Autumn at Belvedere spent enumerable hours walking us through a process that was completely foreign to us. She took us by the hand and patiently guided us through every step, from a design that would maximize our profits to an equipment selection with the quality and look that would leave our customers feeling pampered. The end result was a salon that was right on target with the upscale image that we had hoped to convey. We are so proud of our salon that we have opened our doors for tours to many Belvedere clients looking to open salons in our area.
I was advised to call Beneficial Capital to discuss finance options for our equipment. This turned out to be a very positive experience as well. I found that they could completely relate to the process of opening a new salon — it's as if they owned a salon themselves. Much of the advice that they offered went well beyond finance programs. It left me feeling as if I had my own business consultant. Our ability to finance our equipment enabled us to focus our energy on the other critical details of our business without having to worry about how we were going to pay for our salon.
